There is nothing like Old Fashioned Icecream!:

"One of my fondest memories or my childhood is in making homemade ice cream with my Dad. He didn't do it often,because it always seemed to make a mess. So when Dad made home made ice cream it was a real treat. Dad was the one who would mix it all up and he was always creative with different recipes and such. But we favored good ole fashion vanilla. He would mix up the delicious cream and then put it in the center of the old fashioned ice cream maker. Then he would add the crushed ice and the rock salt."
